Toshiba pronta al lancio di un nuovo LCD

regzaToshiba ha svelato ieri un nuovo televisore LCD: serie Regza, dotato di processore Cell (lo stesso che si trova nella PlayStation 3) che permetterà ai telespettatori di registrare da ben 8 canali contemporaneamente. Il TV a 55 pollici Full HD è pronto per il lancio a Dicembre, con un costo di circa 1 milione di Yen (7.600 euro).

Il Cell permetterà anche di registrare, su un disco da 3 Terabyte (3.000 Gigabyte) ben 26 ore di programmazione. La retroilluminazione è a diodi, per garantire un contrasto elevato.

Il tv è anche in grado di riprodurre immagini mosse e sfuocate di video streaming migliorandone nitidezza e contrasto.

Il TV Regza verrà mostrato al CEATEC Japan 2009, la fiera di IT ed elettronica più importante del Paese, che si terrà da oggi fino a Sabato all centro convegni di Chiba (lo stesso del Tokyo Game Show).
